GEO & AI Visibility Optimization

Measure exactly where your firm appears — and doesn't — across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and Gemini. Then close the gap with a prioritized, 90-day roadmap built on statistically reliable data.

When a prospective client asks an AI system "what's the best trusts & estates firm on the Upper East Side?" or "which RIA in Greenwich specializes in concentrated stock?", the AI returns an answer. That answer is increasingly the first impression your firm makes — and for most firms we diagnose, it is the impression they had no idea was forming.

GEO & AI Visibility Optimization is our flagship measurement-first engagement. We don't guess at visibility. We measure it, benchmark it against your real competitors, and give you a defensible roadmap owned by your firm.

The problem with point-in-time AI checks

Most firms that "check" their AI visibility ask ChatGPT a single question, read the answer, and draw a conclusion. LLM responses vary significantly across runs. The same prompt, asked ten minutes apart, can produce meaningfully different lists of firms, different citations, and different framings of your category.

A one-shot answer is a coin flip. To make decisions on it is to build a strategy on noise.

How the engagement works

01

Prompt Design

We define 40–80 category-defining prompts with you: service queries, geographic queries, comparison queries, and the specific "who's the best for X" questions your prospects actually ask. These are tuned to your positioning and the client your firm wants more of.

02

Multi-Run Measurement

Each prompt is run at least ten times per platform, producing a distribution of answers rather than a single data point. We track citation frequency, citation position, competitor co-occurrence, and the third-party sources each platform pulls from.

03

Competitor Benchmarking

We score your citation share against the 5–10 firms the AI systems actually name in your category and geography — which is almost never the list you would have predicted. The gap between "firms we compete with" and "firms the AI recommends instead of us" is usually the most valuable finding in the engagement.

04

Citation-Source Analysis

We identify the third-party sites each platform treats as authoritative in your category — trade publications, directories, law-school faculty pages, state bar profiles, Wikipedia, industry associations — and quantify your presence on each.

05

90-Day Roadmap

You receive a prioritized, firm-owned roadmap: the interventions that will move citation share fastest, sequenced by effort and impact. On-site work, off-site work, and third-party surface work are all treated distinctly because they move on different timelines.

What you actually receive

Diagnosis without prescription. The baseline engagement is deliverable-only. You own the data. You can execute the roadmap in-house, with your existing agency, or retain us to run it. We won't pressure you either way — the quality of the diagnosis is the engagement.

Who this is for

Firms who suspect — or have confirmed, usually anecdotally — that prospects are arriving less frequently, or arriving differently qualified, and want to understand whether AI-mediated discovery is a contributing factor before making investment decisions.

It is particularly valuable for firms that have invested heavily in traditional SEO and are now seeing the gap between "ranks well on Google" and "is recommended by AI" for the first time.

Common questions

How long does the baseline engagement take?

Typically 3–4 weeks from kickoff. The measurement runs themselves take about a week; prompt design and analysis are where the time goes.

Do you work with my existing SEO or marketing agency?

Yes. We deliberately deliver firm-owned roadmaps so your existing partners can execute them. We do not compete with SEO agencies — the work lives in a different layer.

Why not just use an off-the-shelf AI tracking tool?

Most tools run too few samples to produce statistically reliable data, don't benchmark against real category competitors, and don't connect findings to the third-party-citation work that actually moves visibility. We use tooling where it helps, but the engagement is not a dashboard subscription.

What if we're not cited at all?

Common finding. It's not a crisis — it's a starting point. The roadmap is sequenced to close the gap, starting with the highest-leverage third-party surfaces and the on-site patterns AI extractors actually use.
